![]() dev/mapper/fedora-home /home ext4 defaults 1 2One thing I did notice is that I believe my Windows 10 drive (sdb) is no longer being recognized as a UEFI drive. From the grub2 documentation, drive numbers start with 0 and partitions start at 1, further the partition table type has to be specified hence Further, and I think this is where things are falling apart, is that I simply need to get grub2 to start the Windows bootloader which based on parted and fdisk I am assuming is the first partition of sdb (ie sdb1). If I select Windows 10, I get the error shown above.įrom reading about grub2, Windows boots a bit differently than Linux, hence the chainloading directive in the the menuentry structure. If I select sda, grub2 runs and I get a list of Fedora, Fedora recovery, and my Windows 10 entry (40_custom). On the motherboard, an Asus Z97, I can select which drive to start the using the UEFI BIOS. ![]() Now sda is the disk on which Fedora 22 is installed. Based on the parted dump, ESP shows as being in the first partition of disk sda. I guess I am not smart enough about all this to really answer your question. ![]() ![]() Several attempts have been made with the most recent being: dev/sdb3 499193856 500115455 921600 450M 27 Hidden NTFS WinREAs described in a number of post and articles, I am modifying /etc/grub.d/40_custom.
